We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc or PhD student with background in cell biology, biochemistry, or structural biology. The host group (Dr. Hongxia Zhao, Research Fellow in Academy of Finland) focuses on protein functions in membrane morphogenesis. The position will start earliest on 1st of September 2013 in University of Helsinki.
The candidate is expected to be familiar with cloning, protein expression and protein purification, or eucaryotic cell culture and cell imaging. Knowledge of membrane biochemistry or biophysics is a plus but not required. He or she should be fluent in English. PhD students holding the Continent Chinese Government Scholarship (出国留学基金) are welcome anytime.
