lipidomics. The company provides services to pharmaceutical industry, which benefit their
drug discovery, preclinical and clinical programs. Zora research is focusing on the
production of novel biomarkers and targets. Zora is based in Espoo. To strengthen our
team we are now looking for a
Bioinformatician /Statistician
The job consists of bioinformatics and statistical work for both customers, as well as,
Zora research projects. Additionally, support for development of company’s bioinformatic
infrastructure, application of existing data processing methods and development of
algorithms for data integration will be your tasks. You must be dynamic, independent, and
responsible team worker to succeed in this position. Fluency in written and oral English
is a must.
Qualifications:
- PhD degree in computational biology or life sciences degrees with good IT background or
equivalent.
- Alternatively: Degree in statistics with knowledge or interest in biology.
- Good programming skills: SAS, R or similar.
- Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage: MS data processing,
development of algorithms for QC and raw data processing, clinical databases, statistical
modeling techniques.
- Metabolomics and pathway analysis
- Analysis of omics data and/or clinical data
