Highly self-motivated scientists are invited to apply for an FGSPB-funded doctoral
candidate position affiliated with the group led by Docent Jing Li.
Project description:
-Deciphering molecular mechanisms linking growth and development into innate immunity in
plants using mordern genetic tools in combination with biochemical, physilogical and
pathological approaches. The successful candidate will have
access to a variety of techniques available in my lab including high-throughput genetic
screening, living-cell imaging, transcriptome and protein profiling, in vivo protein
complex isolation, DNA-protein and protein-protein interaction assays, chromatin
immunopecipitation (ChIP) and its genome-wide application ChIP-SEQ.
Applicants eligible:
-with a university degree at MSc or equivalent level in biochemistry or molecular/cell
biology
-Team player with execellent communication skills
-Proficiency in English
-Previous experience with plant biology not required
